About SRS

TomorrowSocially Responsible Sloth is a passionate soul who cares about others and believes in doing the right thing. He’s also a two-toed sloth.

Created by Erik Reichenbach, Socially Responsible Sloth does the most good with the least amount of effort. While SRS was originally conceived out of spite for the severe apathy of American public opinions towards social norms, SRS eventually came to embody a duel nature. Any effort that aims at beginning a positive change in the people or community around you is to be valued.

A subtly hypocritical creature with a smiling face, Socially Responsible Sloth is a satirical comic that comments on what it means to “do good” in the internet age.

SRS is updated when I get around to it. :))

  1. Hey, just found your blog with the “Comic” tag. I want to get into drawing comics. Only did one so far. I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet. What do you use? How long does it take you to draw? How long have you been doing this? Where do you get your inspiration from as far as stories go?

    • Hey There,

I use pen and paper to draw each comic and then scan it into the computer and add color in Adobe Photoshop. I would love to get a Wacom tablet; it removes the “scan it in” part and you can do a lot more with color too.

I’ve been making comics since I was little but only recently started doing SRS 3 times a week. Because I’m pretty quick at drawing each comic usually only takes me an hour to put together. The ideas come from everyday life… Anything I see that my character, Slothy, could have an opinion on or be a part of.
